To Oromos in and out/ around of Ontario and New York,
The Oromo Youth Association of Ontario (OYA Ontario) and Oromo Youth Association of New York (OYA NY), extend our invitation to attend our upcoming Oromo cultural show, A Night in Oromiya, on the 30thof December of 2016. The event will be held at Montecassino Banquet Hall (3710 Chesswood Dr. Toronto, Canada) from 4:00 p.m to 12 p.m.
The main objective of this show is to encompass and embrace the beautiful diversity within Oromia during the special evening through song, dance, poetry, art displays, and drama pieces in addition to others. All the while, this show will be entertaining as well as educational. This event is a charitable event where its proceeds will go the humanitarian needs back home such as hospitals and burial sites.
The Oromo Youth Association of Ontario and New York is a committee of Oromo youth, a chained youth association all over the world, focused and motivated to bring the Oromo culture into light, heightening awareness and empowerment of Oromo youth. We, OYA Ontario and OYA New York, are hosting this event together with the Hamilton, Kitchener/Waterloo, Ottawa Oromo communities along with the community of New York and its’ surroundings, are also taking part in the creation of this wonderful show.
